Cremyll Ferry Passenger Fares
Jun. 2025
The Cremyll Ferry, operated by Plymouth Boat Trips, has announced an increase on passenger fares effective from 21st July 2025.
Owner of Plymouth Boat Trips, Ben Squire said:
“The new pricing structure ensures we are able to meet increased operating costs, while continuing to deliver a safe and reliable service to passengers.”
The fare increase is the first that has been implemented by the company since April 2023 and takes the adult fare to £3 and child fare to £2. Children under 3 travel free of charge and there is no increase on charges for bikes. For local residents, adult concessions will be £2 and £1.25 for children.
The ferry service, which connects Plymouth with Cornwall’s Rame Peninsula, was temporarily running from Royal William Yard due to essential works on the Cremyll slipway. With repairs now complete the service is operating again from Admirals Hard.
Ben Squire went on to say:
“We work hard to keep fares as low as possible and, at the same time, offer a great service to passengers. We look forward to welcoming customers on board the Cremyll Ferry this summer, for what promises to be a busy season ahead.”
